Macramé Beaded Plant Hanger Workshop

Learn how to make a macramé beaded plant hanger in a supportive online environment for beginners.

During the workshop there will be demonstrations on how to complete each section of the project, and opportunities to ask questions and receive live support.

You’ll walk away with a beautiful macramé plant hanger to cradle your favourite pot plant, as well as the digital pattern to keep.

Each digital pattern also includes permission to sell the macrame products you make in small quantities – so you can use your new-found skills to make more plant hangers and sell them for $$$.

Live workshops are limited to 15 places to ensure that I’m able to answer all questions and give a more personalised experience.

**THIS WORKSHOP DOES NOT INCLUDE MATERIALS NEEDED

You can either:

1. Purchase a beaded plant hanger kit from My Mum the Dreamer (please allow 2 weeks shipping within Australia or 6 weeks shipping internationally), or
2. Purchase your own materials from a local supplier. You will need 22m/72ft of 5mm, 3-ply macramé cord (preferably recycled cotton) and 4 x (20mm x 30mm) wooden barrel beads with a 10mm hole (OR 8 x 20mm round wooden beads if you can’t find barrel beads).

Other materials needed:

• Scissors
• Something to measure with (measuring tape/metal rule)
• S-hook or extra piece of macramé cord to hang your project, plus something to hang it from (a door handle, top of door, stable shelf, towel rack or clothes rack will work!)
• A pot to test the size of the plant hanger (130mm diameter is preferred, but anything 90mm – 130mm will work)
• OPTIONAL: Hot glue gun and glue sticks/fabric glue

Access to a computer, laptop, tablet or similar with internet access and a camera will be required so that I can assist with any issues you come across while knotting. It is recommended the screen is larger than a phone so that you’re able to see the demonstrations clearly.
